Wow I never update this thing!

So a while ago I fled up to Delaware with Zui to take a few snap-snaps and this is what we came up with...okay, well this is MOST of what we came up with. I ommitted one shot that makes me look like shit. Sorry, but I do my own sort of editing in that if the image sucks, it's not going to be displayed.

This is the stuff we shot for Revert Fashions, a t-shirt company. I'm in love with the shirts, not gonna lie. I feel that everyone needs a shirt reading "Blow Kisses Not Coke" because it's true and snarky at the same time. You can't get much better than that!

The next series we shot was for Meschantes Couture, a simply fantastic corset company. If you're ever in need of a genuine, steel-boned corset, you must check them out. They're reasonably priced and amazing quality, give you a comfortable cinch without looking terribly fake.

This last shot was just one that I did for fun with Liz. She did all the hair and makeup for the above shots, too, and this was styled by her, as well.

I went up to NY and did a big shoot with Aeirc Meredith-Goujon that involved being play pierced. Though that was a pain and a fucking half. Not only did it hurt but it hurt like a bitch and I may never do it again.

Sometimes I like to engage in the side of life that involves lots of scandal "gaspers" but it's not something I do frequently. I'm not a naked model though there is NOTHING wrong with the ladies and gents who are.

The getting pierced. Yes, ouch, it hurt. I lie to you not. It hurt. A lot. I hate when people go "needles don't hurt" because needles HURT. They are NEEDLES under your SKIN.
That and I had a bit of a scuffle with the girl doing the needles. She's a dominatrix named Sade so she misinterpreted my pain. In my case, pain means "that fucking hurts" not "oh yeah baby, lemme have it" no, not at all. So we had to have a discussion about that.

Putting my makeup on.

Aeric had a ring light hanging up that I was just dying to play with so he indulged me in my habit of touching shiny things.

Eventually we got around to actually shooting some stuff so here.

Finally got home from NY. Not that I don't like NY and everything but...I hate that city. I get lost, everything looks the same and there's never any peace or quite.

I shot with 3 pretty epic people and I'm anxiously awaiting my new pictures. I've been without new work for long enough when it's bugging me!
I've been on the hunt for new work.

I got a package in the mail from my always-sweet Silversark for my Monday shoot! I'm psyched, psyched, psyyyyyyyched!

I have a pretty neat shoot soon! Setting up the specifics right now but it's gonna be great.

The fantastic RedRum_Collaboration came to play on Monday! And we dragged Christine into the mix.

It was a glorious and gorgeous time but unfortunately I can't show you all the pics :( I think they may be published in an e-zine and they'll be a surprise!

But! I leave you with the fruits of my labor with KollinBliss back in December!

An air of scandal.

An air of innocence.

I've finally arrived back home after my week in Ohio and it was quite a week.

I spent a ton of time with Audrey and Sarah, two of my most intimate friends in the world. It makes me realize exactly how much we need to cherish the friends that we have in our lives. Treat them as equals, treat them as the sisters and brothers who finally began to appear in our lives to hold us up and keep us tight in their thoughts. Our friends, our best friends, are the ones who are going to bear us when the weight of our problems becomes something that we need more than just a mom and dad for.

I bought some new shoot-like clothes while I was out there, one outfit which I'll wear tomorrow for my next shoot. I'm psyched to finally wear something black and white, I've been such a color burst and this outfit reminds me of pin-up, of something epically different.

So! Whose excited this week? Why?

I just had a photoshoot the other day with the fabulously talented Laura Dark Photography. I'm lucky enough to say that my hair stylist was Acid Poptart Productions because she is a mistress of hair and attitude and my makeup was done by the fun and super sweet Mary Kelley. I had a really, really great time while Audrey and Sarah laughed it up in the next room.

This is the first look that we all did and let me tell you, sitting still for that long was quite torturous. My extensions were a hot mess and Acid kept telling me how bad of condition that my hair was in...which it is. Sarah and I hacked them out of my hair right afterwards because they were itching and I finally got to wash my hair properly.
My skin looked totally amazing and those lashes were epic!

That's the first look in action! Pony boots courtesy of Acid as well. The dress was custom-made for me by Slyx latex and let me just say it looked great, fit me like a glove.

This is the second look we did. Acid was running off somewhere so Mary and Laura managed to finangle me this second look with wardrobe provided by Sisters of the Moon D, though the full outfit doesn't have pics yet, they're sure to be epic and great!
The beaded hairpiece and totally vintage and took like 40 pins to hold in place, my head hurt so much!

My mom gave me Julia Child'sThe Art of Mastering French Cooking for Christmas and I found the most divine recipe for chicken and cream with mushrooms and I cannot wait to start it. I'm so excited for it, I have the recipe bookmarked and everything. I saw it cooked in Julie & Julia and it looked so good I wanted to lick the screen.

I suppose I should start a goal for 2010 and I guess it's to start my novel. So that's what I'll do. Every week try to have at least 10 pages done, that's enough to do over a week I think. Especially with school and work getting in the way of my free time. I also want to shoot more and get my name out there and I know I can't do all that without setting smaller goals, but I figure a small goal is better than no goal.

I also want to get back into shape. I have epic new rollerblades that are just screaming at me for me to use them but it's been so cold and snowy outside I haven't wanted to risk falling quite that much so I guess now's the time to start up using them again, though it's been a minute since I was out with them, especially around in DC. But it's all good.

New work from Laura Dark to be posted tomorrow. Are you all excited?
